Learn from professional tennis instructors with lessons in a beautiful Southwestern setting at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. The facility features five hard Plexi-Pave courts, four with built-in lighting for night play. The Stadium Court can provide seating for 6,300 spectators. The Scottsdale Princess Tennis Center, long recognized as one of the premier Scottsdale tennis facilities in the Southwest, has been a regular pro tennis tour stop for 16 years. It has hosted many of the game’s top names competing in the ATP tour event (originally the Franklin Templeton Men’s Tennis Classic) from 1987 to 2005. In addition, the facility hosted a W.T.A. Women’s tournament, the State Farm Women’s Classic, from 2000 to 2003.

DAILY HOURS OF OPERATION:
Tennis Center: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Tennis Courts: 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Juniors Programming:
Designed for young players and locals, kids can begin their love of the game by having fun while they learn footwork, ground strokes, serves, overhead shots and agility. 

Junior Programming includes:

  • Pee Wee’s , Ages 4-6: Classes focus on hand-eye coordination and racquet skills with wider racquets and oversized balls to begin proper techniques with little ones.
  • QuickStart , Ages 7-11: Players may be learning the game for the first time or building on their fundamental work.
  • Futures , 12 & Up: This class is for the beginner or advanced beginner, focusing on stroke development, backhand, volley and serve.

Adult Programming:
Adults can have a ball at clinics of their own, such as Tequila & Tennis, Cardio Tennis, and “Play Days.”  Local residents and hotels guests are invited to participate in any of the above-mentioned Tennis Center clinics or events.
