Adventure on Land

Hummer, ATV, and Stargazing

You won't want to miss this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Your guides can answer your questions about the native cultures, plants, and animals you may see while you're out.

The Sonoran Desert is arguably the best-kept scenery secret in the Southwest. You'll know it when you take in the sights, gazing out over the pristine landscape and the untouched, raw beauty of the desert. Take in the bright, unique flora and exotic fauna—like the only jaguars that roam the U.S.—and appreciate the courage of the native peoples and the frontiersmen who traversed these paths years ago. The vast Tonto National Forest offers a striking contrast to this desert scene, with lush pine trees that offer shade, respite from the hottest desert in North America, and a bit of mystery. Additional charge for roundtrip transportation $175.00 up to 4 people -$35.00 per person after 4 people.

  • Hummer Tour - (4 hours) - (4 person minimum)
  • Stargazing Adventure with Night Vision - (4 person minimum)

Is it true that you can drink water out of a cactus like John Wayne did? Are there really roadrunners living here? How did the ancient Indians thrive in this harsh climate? Your guide will make it fun for you to understand the intricate balances of this desert ecosystem as you explore its geologic, archeological and botanical history. Each Jeep® has a cooler with bottled water & Gatorade. Each tour includes door-to-door transportation. Cost per person does not include sales tax.
