Introducing Solstice Terrace: A New Wedding Venue at Fairmont Scottsdale Princess
A wedding day is made up of many moments: the walk down the aisle, the first toast, dinner surrounded by loved ones, and the celebration that carries into the evening.
At Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, those moments now have a new place to unfold.
Introducing Solstice Terrace, the newest wedding venue at the AAA Five Diamond Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. Opening for booking on November 1, 2026, the 3,000-square-foot outdoor ceremony venue is designed for weddings of 150 guests or fewer, with views across the TPC Scottsdale golf course toward the McDowell Mountains.
While Solstice Terrace is designed as a ceremony space, the experience does not end after the vows are exchanged. The terrace connects directly to Solstice Veranda for cocktails and Solstice I & II for receptions and seated dinners, bringing the full celebration together within one private setting.
A New Perspective on Scottsdale Weddings
There is something special about getting married somewhere that feels unmistakably connected to its surroundings.
Solstice Terrace sits among the gardens and desert landscapes of Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, where Arizona scenery becomes part of the ceremony. The setting looks out across the TPC Scottsdale fairways toward the McDowell Mountains, creating an open, expansive backdrop without taking attention away from the couple.
The name Solstice speaks to the relationship between the sun, the landscape and the passing of time. It is especially fitting as the day moves toward evening, when the changing Arizona light brings a different character to the terrace.
For couples who want their wedding to feel rooted in Scottsdale, the setting offers a sense of place from the moment guests arrive.
From Vows to the Celebration
One of the many defining features of Solstice is how easily the day can unfold from one moment to the next.
After the ceremony, guests can move directly to Solstice Veranda for cocktails outdoors. From there, the celebration continues into Solstice I & II, an elegant indoor space for dinner and dancing.
Formerly the Fairmont Gold Meeting Room, Solstice I & II has been incorporated into the new Solstice experience, giving couples an indoor setting for the evening while keeping the entire celebration connected.
Across the three spaces, the Solstice experience offers approximately 13,165 square feet of event space, including the 3,000-square-foot outdoor terrace.
This means couples can create a wedding day with a sense of rhythm: an outdoor ceremony, cocktails as the evening begins, then dinner and dancing indoors.
Designed for the Way You Celebrate
Every wedding has its own personality, and the setting is only the beginning.
Fairmont Scottsdale Princess offers full-service catering and access to Studio F Designs, the resort’s in-house event planning and design studio. The team can help bring a couple’s vision to life through décor, lighting, branding, fabrication and transportation, as well as coordinating tours, activities and off-site events throughout Scottsdale.
That level of support allows couples to make the Solstice spaces their own while having the experience and resources of the resort behind them.
Stay for More Than the Wedding
For couples and their guests, the celebration can begin well before the ceremony and continue long after the last dance.
Fairmont Scottsdale Princess spans 65 acres, with gardens, Spanish Colonial courtyards and desert landscapes throughout the resort. Wedding parties can spend time together on property, explore Scottsdale or simply settle into the resort for a few days around the celebration.
Fairmont Gold is located near the Solstice venues and offers personalized concierge service, private lounge access, daily breakfast and evening refreshments. Select suites feature spacious living areas and golf-course views.
For couples and families looking for a more private stay, Privado Villas offer residential-style accommodations with private patios, spacious living areas, a private pool and dedicated concierge services.
The result is a wedding experience that extends beyond a single day. Guests can arrive early, settle in, celebrate together and enjoy the destination before heading home.
