Personal Photography

Personal photography is welcome throughout most public areas of the resort.
Whether you are celebrating a family vacation, anniversary, birthday, engagement, holiday tradition, or simply enjoying the beauty of the Sonoran Desert, we encourage you to capture the moments that matter most.
Guests are welcome to use mobile phones, personal cameras, and handheld devices for personal, non-commercial photography.

To help preserve the experience for everyone, we ask that guests:
• Respect the privacy of fellow guests.
• Avoid blocking walkways, entrances, or gathering areas.
• Refrain from disrupting resort operations or activities.
• Follow any direction provided by resort colleagues.
Our favorite photographs are often the simplest ones; genuine moments shared with family
and friends.

Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Preferred Photographer Program.

Our Preferred Photographers have been carefully selected for their professionalism, artistic talent, hospitality, and familiarity with the resort. They understand our most scenic locations, seasonal décor, lighting conditions, and operational expectations, allowing them to create exceptional photographs while respecting the comfort and privacy of other guests. Guests interested in scheduling a professional portrait session are encouraged to contact our Concierge team, who will gladly recommend the photographer best suited for their occasion. Professional Portrait Photography is not available for proposals, weddings, graduations, recital celebrations, indoor public locations or any situation where a private and secured space is required. These photography sessions need to be confirmed through our catering and private events team. Professional portrait sessions may be scheduled based on resort occupancy, seasonal programming, and operational considerations.

Weddings & Private Events

• Photography associated with contracted weddings, meetings, and private events is coordinated through the resort’s Catering & Events team as part of each client’s event agreement.
• Photographers working on behalf of wedding or event clients are welcome and should follow all resort photography standards and event-specific guidelines.
• Photography outside contracted event spaces or scheduled event times may require additional
• coordination.

Commercial Photography & Filming

• Commercial photography and filming are welcome by prior arrangement only.
• Commercial projects include advertising campaigns, product photography, fashion photography, television or film production, commercial social media content, brand collaborations, and other promotional activities.
• To ensure these projects integrate seamlessly with resort operations and the guest experience, advance approval from the Resort Marketing & Communications team is required.
• Depending on the scope of the project; fees, production schedules, insurance, agreements, location fees, or additional operational planning may apply.

Media & Content Creators

• The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess welcomes opportunities to collaborate with members of the media, influencers, content creators, and production teams whose work aligns with our brand.
• Editorial coverage, hosted visits, influencer collaborations, and commercial content creation should be coordinated in advance through the Resort Marketing & Communications team.

Signature Resort Events

Throughout the year, the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess hosts a variety of signature resort events, including Christmas at the Princess, Freedom Fest, and other seasonal celebrations. We encourage guests to capture and share the memories they create during these special experiences. Because these events often include larger crowds, entertainment, performances, and unique guest experiences, additional photography guidelines may occasionally be implemented to support resort operations and ensure an exceptional experience for all guests. Professional photography during Signature Resort Events may be subject to designated locations, approved times, or other operational considerations. Our goal is always to create opportunities for memorable photography while preserving the comfort, safety, and enjoyment of every guest.

Drone Photography

Drone photography and videography are not permitted anywhere on resort property unless specifically authorized in writing by the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess.
